Adventure of Gobi Desert (long term)

Upon arrival in Mongolia’s capital city, you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to your 5-star hotel. Ulaanbaatar, located at 1,351 meters above sea level, sits between the powerful neighbors of China and Russia. With a population of over 1.6 million, it is the cultural and political heart of Mongolia. Depending on your arrival time, a short city tour may be arranged.

After breakfast, begin your journey to Baga Gazriin Chuluu, a granite rock formation with ancient tombs, rock carvings, and springs. Archaeological finds from the Bronze Age have been uncovered in the area. Overnight at the tourist camp.

Today we visit the ruins of Ongiin Khiid Monastery, located along the Ongi River. A statue of the local deity, King of the Water Lus Luvsanjalbu, weighs 1.3 tons and stands 2 meters tall. Local people believe the river began to flow again after the statue was erected. Overnight at the tourist camp.

Visit the Flaming Cliffs, famous for dinosaur fossil discoveries and glowing red hills at sunset. Continue to Yolyn Am Gorge, a deep canyon where ice remains year-round. Feel the chill as you walk through the narrow gorge and admire the dramatic cliffs. Overnight at the tourist camp.

Travel to the magnificent Khongor Sand Dunes. Enjoy camel and horse rides, climb the dunes along the ridge, and watch the golden sands shimmer under the sun. From the top, admire the contrast of desert, mountains, river, and green oasis. Overnight at the tourist camp.

After breakfast, visit the nearest town for shopping and lunch, then transfer to the local airport for your flight back to Ulaanbaatar. Check in at the hotel and rest.

After breakfast, take a short drive to Terelj National Park. Visit the Genghis Khan Equestrian Statue Complex, Turtle Rock, Aryabal Meditation Temple, and the Cave of 1000 Lamas. Return to the hotel in the evening.

Transfer to the airport for your return flight. The wonderful adventure tour comes to an end.
