You will see the unique landscape of the Gobi region of Mongolia in one trip, and each day we will show you different places with different characteristics. If you imagine the Gobi region only as sand, we will change your perception.

Upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia’s capital city located at 1,351 meters above sea level, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to a 5-star hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for a brief city tour. Ulaanbaatar is a landlocked city between two global giants—Russia and China—and is home to more than 1.6 million people. Overnight at the tourist camp. (B)
Take a domestic flight to Dalanzadgad, the capital of South Gobi Province. After arrival, explore the small city before heading to Yolyn Am, a dramatic gorge located in the Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park. The name “Yol” comes from a rare bird of prey found only in Central Asia. The gorge, carved by ancient rivers, remains covered with ice even during summer, offering a cool, fresh atmosphere. Looking up from inside the gorge, you’ll see only a thin ribbon of blue sky. Overnight at the tourist camp. (B, L, D)
After breakfast, travel to the breathtaking Khongor Sand Dunes. Unlike typical deserts, this area features a stunning contrast: dunes backed by rocky mountains and bordered by lush oases and flowing rivers. From the dune ridge, rolling sandhills stretch to the horizon. The dunes sparkle like gold under the sun on windless days. Due to the loose shifting sand, you'll ascend from the base along the dune ridge, as direct climbing is not possible. Overnight at tourist camp (B, L, D)
Visit the iconic Bayanzag, also known as the Flaming Cliffs, a place made famous by American explorer Roy Chapman Andrews in the 1920s. It is one of the world's most important paleontological sites where dinosaur fossils, including eggs, were first discovered. The cliffs glow red at sunset, resembling burning embers from afar. Bayanzag is also rich in prehistoric human traces dating back over 40,000 years. Overnight at tourist camp (B, L, D)
Flight back to Ulaanbaatar and take in the panoramic night view of the city from Zaisan Hill, a scenic spot popular with both locals and tourists. Overnight at tourist camp (B, L)
Transfer to the airport for your return flight. The wonderful adventure tour ends.
